2020 Autumn 1 week 5

Date: 2nd Oct 2020 @ 3:47pm

How fast the weeks are flying by!

The children have continued to impress us with their dedication, commitment and hard work and have produced lots of lovely work again.

In English, they've planned, drafted and edited their very own information leaflets about how to have a healthy mind.

In Maths, we've tackled long division, which is always very difficult and we've been delighted with the progress that we've seen.

We've also begun to study the different biomes of the world and this week we looked at the desert. We promise that the lesson wasn't very dry...

Have a lovely weekend, well done and stay safe.

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
