2020 Autumn 1 week 7

Date: 16th Oct 2020 @ 12:00pm

This week, we've begun to complete our work for our Fit for Life topic by editing our persuasive letters, which were excellently written; and producing beautfiul posters, which display all that we have learnt about how to keep ourselves healthy. The latter are coming along very nicely indeed!

For geogaphy, we've begun our biomes booklets and they're looking wonderful! We can't wait to see them all completed and filled with knowledge, facts and incredible art.

Next week, we'll be beginning to prepare for our 'Remembrance Service' by learning Flanders Fields and assigning spoken parts to each child, so that they have time to learn them over the half-term.

We hope that you have a lovely weekend and thank you for your continued support.

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
