Welcome to the Reception blog!

Each week we will be posting a blog on the Reception page so you can see all of the fantastic things that we get up to in the Foundation Stage at St. Luke’s.

Well, the weather Gods have certainly shone down on us this week and we have enjoyed a rather sweaty, but enjoyable first few days. We were delighted to see most of the children skip into school without a backward glance. We hope that they continue to be that excited for the remainder of their school journey. As we stressed on the home visit, it is vital that home and school work as a partnership. If there is anything you are concerned about, please come and speak to us. The children’s emotional well-being is of paramount importance to us and we would like to know anything that may be worrying them, or indeed you.

We have spent the last few days exploring our new environment and getting to know our new friends. We hope that you have a restful weekend and remember that the children are welcome to send in any “Good News” that they would like to share with their classmates, [email protected].
