Summer Music Concert, 2021

As usual, our Summer Concert was a great success on Wednesday evening; it is always one of the highlight of the school year, being able to watch our young musicians show off all that they have learnt during their music lessons.

It was lovely to see and hear all of our St Luke's musicians showcase their skills again after a difficult year; despite the challenges faced by all of the children over the past twelve months, they all embraced the challenge of the performance and displayed their talents beautifully in front of an audience of friends and family. It was a lovely sunny summer's evening and we hope everyone in attendance enjoyed being able to attend a concert for the first time in quite a while!

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
