                                                    Friday 14th June

The children continued their beautiful birds, this week, and concentrated on the plumage. This will continue into next week until our flock is complete.

Monday, the weather held for us and we were able to participate in our OAA (Outdoor and Adventurous Activities). The children approached their challenges with enthusiasm and team spirit.

We took time to consider the human and physical features of the landscape, once again, with a focus on the seaside. We discussed how varied the coast can be around the UK and viewed some of the different features.

You will see that we have placed the holiday questionnaire, mentioned last week, into the files to download within Home Learning as well as in book bags. Please see the relevant Spider message for further information.

Have a lovely weekend.

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
