                                 Friday 17th May

This week, our Birds art project continued and we completed observational drawings of feathers using various mediums. We went on to experiment with paper, trialling different techniques, in readiness for making our 3D birds.

What a difference a week makes! We observed our plants, once again, noticing their stems lengthening and more leaves appearing. Fantastic!

During maths we thought about groups and rows. We spent time outside arranging ourselves in different ways.

In gymnastics, we continued developing our push, pull and slide skills when using the apparatus. Next week, we will incorporate the turns we have been mastering to our unique sequences.

In the week ahead, we look forward to continuing our birds and our bean diaries. So much to look forward to.

Have a wonderful weekend and thank you for your support.

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
