We loved celebrating World Maths Day and were so impressed with the interest and enthusiasm shown by the children. The children chose so many interesting ways to represent 35. Mr. Hardman thought so too and awarded each Year One class a golden ticket! Fabulous! We also continued our Seaside scenes, fine tuning our skills when making both slider and lever mechanisms. We look forward to finishing them next week.

Next week, we commence our week with Pirate Day. Please ensure your child is dressed for the occasion. As previously mentioned, this can be a t-shirt with trousers or jogging bottoms as we have props and accessories in school. Tuesday we will see the Year 5 production and on Thursday we will attend Church for our Easter service. It is also our Wear a Hat Day. Thank you for all your support and have a lovely weekend.

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
