Wow what a week. All we can say is that we are beyond proud of our Year 5 children and their 3 performances of Rock Bottom. All the rehearsing certainly paid off and we hope that you enjoyed watching it as much as we enjoyed putting it together and performing. We have put lots of pictures on here but for some groups and scenes, this was impossible as we do have some children who cannot have their picture on the Internet.

Today we  used lots of knowledge from our forces topic to create rockets out of plastic bottles that were projected via water and air pressure. Some of them managed to fly approximately 30m. The video of the winning distance is here - note how wet Mr Hardman gets!

Have a lovely Easter break and see you all in 2 weeks.

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
