DT week in Y1 this week... and next week!
In our DT lessons, this week, we enjoyed our fabulous fruit and vegetable taste testing, including: apples, mango, pineapple and more! Next week, the children will decide which smoothies they wish to make and are looking forward to sampling them too.
We also thought about where our fruit and vegetables grow and how they might grow above ground, below ground or on trees and vines.
We have come to the end of our narrative story, Ruby's Worry. Next week, the children will be introduced to our new English text, Perfectly Norman.
On Monday, we will be walking to church for the Harvest Festival Service, led by the Y3 children. 1P will attend the first service at 9:15 and 1H will attend the second service at 10:00.
