 Friday 15th December

What an eventful week we have just shared! We continued our puppet project and look forward to decorating them, next week.

Christmas lunch was fabulous and the children enjoyed the opportunity to don something festive. We were also treated to a selection of Christmas songs and carols performed, using brass instruments, by our buddies. Wow!

We continued our Christmas Story rehearsals and took time to perform Away in a Manger, for our buddies. A Golden Ticket ensued.

On Tuesday, we look forward to Take Over Day, a firm favourite from last year, and on Wednesday, we are excited to be participating in the church service. We look forward to seeing you there.

Please can the children bring in a named bag, on Monday, to put their belongings into.

Many thanks for your continued support.

The Year One Team

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
