Another fabulous, sunny Spring week!
Monday was St Patrick's Day and we learned how it can be celebrated as well as discussing some of the human and physical features found in Ireland.
In DT, the children have continued to build their moving vehicles, they are coming on nicely! Please take a look at some of the photos.
In English, the children continued exploring the story of Grandad’s Island. Year 1 have been thinking of some super adjectives to describe various scenes in the story.
Year 1 enjoyed their sunny outdoor PE lesson yesterday. We continued our striking and field games where the children practised under arm throwing a ball and hitting with the correct technique.
Today was Comic Relief Red Nose Day 2025. It was wonderful to see all the children dressed up in their red clothing. The money raised provides an opportunity to support communities around the world.
Next week we look forward to the Y5 ”Pirates of the Currybean” production. We are sure that the children will be mesmerised by the performance and enjoy watching their buddies perform.
The following week, we will end our half term with our Pirate Day. This will take place on Friday 4th April. Please look out for a spider message with further information.
Have a lovely weekend.
