                                 Friday 27th May

Another half term over. It has flown by! This week, we have compared different plants and have drawn upon the knowledge we have gained to do so.

It has been a pleasure, once again, to share the varied home learning that has taken place. Thank you for the photographs recording it too. The children love to share what they have been up to.

Although there is no specific homework, this week, you will see that we have still provided the RWI sounds and words we have been working on. An additional activity with further real and alien words has also been included.

Where better place could we be, than Jubilee Road, for the forthcoming celebrations?

We have loved creating our own bunting in anticipation of the celebrations. We hope you enjoy sharing the special book, sent home, marking the occasion.

On our return, we look forward to our celebratory picnic, on the Friday, and the opportunity to wear red, white and blue.

In the meantime, have a wonderful break and celebrations.

Thank you for your support.

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
