What a wonderful week! We finished our beautiful birds and created our own fabulous flock, before they flew home! We also continued with our windmills and creating our stable structures and turbines. We were so impressed with the children, this week, during our trip to the beach. From start to finish they behaved beautifully and represented St Luke’s wonderfully. Their observational skills came to the fore when identifying physical and human features of the landscape as well as the animals and shells, along the strandline. Both the sand sculptures and sandcastles were sensational too!
The children had a wonderful time meeting their new teachers and spending time in their new classes. They loved sharing all they had been up to. We are so proud of them all.
Next week, we look forward to identifying and classifying the shells we collected while there. We will also compare and contrast holidays now and in living memory using the information from our questionnaires.
