What a week! We had a fabulous Pirate Day, on Monday, with treasure hunts, treasure maps and gold coins! The children were a stunning crew and rose to every challenge. Take a look at the photographs celebrating our day.

Tuesday, we had the opportunity to see the Year 5,” Star Warts” production. The children were mesmerised by the performance and loved watching their buddies perform.

Wednesday, our church service was led by the Year 4 children and was a powerful performance of the Easter story. We are so proud of all the children involved.

A massive “Happy Birthday” to those children celebrating their birthdays over the break. We look forward to hearing all your news on your return.

Happy Easter!

The Year One Team

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
