Friday 3rd December

Tuesday was St Andrew’s Day. We were delighted when Mrs. Govan was able to come and chat with us about it. We learned more about St Andrew, Scotland and how the day is celebrated.

We also spent time creating the feathers, for our birds, using oil pastels, pens and sketching pencils. Next week, we look forward to attaching all we have made.

As well as decorating our rooms, and our trees, we have been sharing the Christmas Story and thinking about the meaning of Christmas.

As well as the Christmas Fair, today, we look forward to our Christmas Concert, in Church, on the 15th. Then we will enjoy our own Christmas Party on the 20th. Please look out for more details.  Finally, a further plea for tissues. Thank you for the boxes we have already received.

Have a lovely weekend.

Many thanks for your continued support.

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
