Year 1 Weekly Blog (11. 12. 20)

Friday 11th December

Our sensational Santa Dash certainly rounded off another fantastic week. The marvellous music and snow machine went down a storm as the children dashed about in their amazing outfits. Our thanks goes out to Mr Williams for organising this special event. Why not take a look at a selection of our photos from the day?

The fun doesn’t stop there! Next week, we look forward to our Christmas party afternoon, on Monday, closely followed by Breakfast with Santa on Tuesday. Then Thursday sees us donning our Christmas jumpers, for a final festive mufti, before we break on Friday. Can’t wait…

Have a lovely weekend.

Many thanks for your continued support.

The Year One Team

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
