Year 1 Weekly Blog (11. 9. 20)

Friday 11th September
Dear Y1 Parents & Carers,
Many thanks for your continued support, over the last week, as the children settle into their new classrooms and routines. They certainly enjoyed sharing the Here We Are story and the related discussions and activities around it. 
In the week ahead, we continue thinking about our bodies, and also consider our senses, as we start our Marvellous Me topic. We also look forward to thinking about the different relationships we have as well as thinking about ourselves.
Thank you for sending your child in wearing their outdoor PE kit. As you will appreciate, the weather is quite changeable at the moment so it is essential that the children wear trainers for these sessions and always have a waterproof coat with them. Children with pierced ears must remove them for PE sessions. If they are unable to do so independently, please leave them out for that school day.
