Year 2 Weekly Blog (1. 7. 22)

Date: 28th Jun 2022 @ 9:13am

This week, the children have planned, painted and completed their Habitat Boxes - they look fantastic!

In P.E. this week, the children spent time practising for the races that they will be competing in next week for sports day (next Tuesday).  Fingers crossed that the warmer weather returns for our trip to Range High School, where sports day will be taking place!

On Thursday, the children had their transition morning: going to see their Year 3 classroom next year, and meeting their new teachers!  All of the children were very excited to meet their new teachers and learn all about the different things that they will be doing next year.

Enjoy the weekend!

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
