Year 2 Weekly Blog (8. 7. 22)

Date: 7th Jul 2022 @ 10:03am

Our penultimate week in Year 2 has been a great one!  On Wednesday, both classes enjoyed their final Golden Ticket reward of the year; 2M turned their classroom into a cosy den for the afternoon, whilst 2G had a waterfight on the field!  It wasn't as hot as it has been recently, but the children all had a great time!

On Friday, the children were lucky to be invited to a dress rehearsal of the Year 6 show!  We all loved being able to take a sneak peek of what they have been practising for the past few weeks - we can't wait to see the final thing next week!

Enjoy the weekend!  See you next week for our final week in school before the summer break.

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
