Year 3 Blog 05.07.24

Well, what a busy, musical and sporty week we have had in Year 3!

We are so proud of the children whilst singing at Liverpool Cathedral on Monday. Their behaviour was outstanding, singing was excellent and most of all, the children had a wonderful time. We hope you enjoyed your visit to the cathedral too. Take a look at some of the photos below. There are also a couple of photos and videos on St Luke's Twitter.

On Wednesday morning we all took part in our annual sports day. Again, we are proud of the children's efforts, behaviour and sportsmanship. It was nice to see the children watching and cheering on their friends! Take a look at some of the photos of sports day below.

Home learning - thank you for completing and sending in some lovely pieces of home learning, including a flag of our local area. We love to see these creative parts of home learning. Also, similar to last week, there is a piece of maths homework set on Doodle, focusing on time.

Upcoming dates - Friday 12th July is 'Break The Rules Day.' This should be a very exciting and interesting day...

Wishing you all a wonderful weekend!

The Year Three Team

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
