Year 3 Blog 12.07.24

Date: 12th Jul 2024 @ 1:57pm

The last Blog of Year 3 class of 2023-24! And what a year it has been!

We can't quite believe we are at the end of term. The children have grown and achieved so much this year and we are very proud of their efforts. The Year 3 staff will miss our classes very much, you have all been a joy to teach!

Only 4 more days left of the school year, we hope you have enjoyed Y3 as much as we have teaching you! Reminder that term finishes at 2pm on Thursday 18th July 2024.

Have a look at a range of photographs from this week! We have had a busy week with various events going on around school, including 'Break The Rules Day', Bouncy Castle fun and more! This week our Y3 children planned, drafted and wrote up, in neat writing, their letters to the new Reception children. The children were so excited to find out who their new buddies will be! We have finished our Unit 2 for Latin. We have some Latin superstars in our classes! If you get a chance, play a game of 'Latin zap' at home - I am sure you will be very impressed!

Enjoy your weekend, come on England, if you are watching the football!

See you all on Monday for the last week!

The Year Three Tea

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
