Year 4 Blog 11.10.24

Yet again, the children have been working their socks off in Year 4!

In Maths, the children have been using mental strategies to add numbers. They are also continuing to work on improving their times table knowledge.

In English, they have continued describing the water cycle, as if they are a tour guide. They have been sharing some super descriptive vocabulary, to use within their independent writing.

In Art, the children have been using charcoal and chalk. They have enjoyed exploring the kinds of marks that they can make with the charcoal, chalk, rubbers and dry brushes.

On Tuesday during Mental Health Day, the children had fun wearing their odd coloured socks, brightening up all areas of the school.

The children loved their first walk to church with their buddies, to listen to Year 3’s Harvest Service. They enjoyed the sunshine, whilst chatting and getting to know each other.
