Year 4 Blog 21.4.23
Date: 21st Apr 2023 @ 12:34pm
Following the Easter break, Year 4 have returned to school wearing their Summer uniforms and have had a great start to the Summer term. Thankfully the sun has been shining most of the week!
For English, the children have had the opportunity to share their Easter adventures with each other, using their speaking and listening skills. They have also written a recount of their Easter break, adding lots of description.
In Maths, the children have continued working with fractions. They have been subtracting and simplifying fractions this week.
In DT they began looking at Pavilions. They each made a free-standing structure using wooden sticks.
In RE the children began thinking rules, and discussed The Golden rule, that many people in the world live their lives by.
Congratulations to this week's superstars: 4C: Oliver E 4H: Jess and Amelia.
We’ve certainly had an enthusiastic start to the Summer term!
We look forward to a visit from Mr Egypt next week!
Many thanks again for supporting your child’s learning.
