Year 4 Blog 28.4.23

We have definitely got into the swing of the Summer term in Year 4.

In History, the children have been looking at why the river Nile was so important to the Egyptians. They have looked through topic books to find information and have made lots of notes, ready to write a paragraph in their own words.

In Maths, the children have been introduced to their new maths topic of Time. They have been converting times from 12 hour to 24 hour and vice versa. They have also been converting minutes into seconds.

In PSHE the children have been discussing Human Rights, and why they are important.

On Wednesday, the children were very excited to have the opportunity to take part in orienteering. They also had the added responsibility of guiding their buddies around the course too!
