Year 4 blog 30.9.22
Date: 30th Sep 2022 @ 2:12pm
It’s been a wet but exciting week in year 4!
In Maths, the children have been making number patterns, looking closely at the value of each digit within 3 and 4 digit numbers. They have also started to round numbers to the nearest 1000.
In English, we have continued looking at ‘Fox’ and have discussed the similarities and differences in the relationships between the Dog, Magpie and Fox.
In Art, the children have continued to create their own concertina book, using sketching techniques. They have created images relating to specific vocabulary from 'Fox'.
In Computing the children enjoyed exploring Collaborative learning. They all became aware of being considerate of others, when working on a shared document.
The children thoroughly enjoyed their Triathlon experience and they worked skilfully when cycling, running and swimming (substitute action, as we have no water!!). They definitely earned themselves a rest by the end of it!
Well done to our Weekly Superstar: 4C: Yasmeen and Sam J 4H
Many thanks again for supporting your child’s learning.
