Year 4 Blog 4.10.24

Thankfully we have had lots of sunshine to enjoy this week!

 In Maths, the children have been adding 4-digit numbers with renaming. They have been using counters, journaling down their thinking and have used column method to calculate their answers.

In English, the children have discussed being tour guides. They have begun to expertly explain the various parts of the water cycle, as if they were giving a guided tour.

In Science, the children have been investigating condensation. They observed 3 cans of pop. One had been kept at room temperature, one was put in the fridge and the third was put in the freezer. Using a piece of tissue, they observed what had happened to the outside of each can after being in the classroom.

 In computing the children have been finding out about the Internet and how computers in a network can share information with others. The children have also been whizz kids with their tables on TTRS.

In PSHE the children have been discussing friendships.
