This week in school we have been absorbed in the classic narrative poem "The Highwayman," written in Victorian times by Alfred Noyes. Children have really understood the tricky language and the tale of love and dastardly deeds, using inference and deduction to aid their understanding. In art, we have been sketching in the style of Charles Keeping, the illustrator of the original poem and produced some excellent pieces.
In maths we have been using the terms factor and multiple, and have been finding common factors and prime numbers.
