Year 6 blog for week ending 21/3/25

This week, the children have been busy getting on with a full battery of mock SATS style assessments. We have continued with the core of our learning, but we have been most impressed by the dedication, resilience and mature approach on display, as this was our last full run-through before the main event in May.

Thank you to all families for their support at home, and please continue to do so during this last big push. This can be done using the materials available on the Year 6 home-learning page of the school’s website, as well as the weekly home-learning provided and online through Doodle, which supports spellings, maths, and punctuation and grammar.

We are also grateful for the Red Nose Day donations and for families who are supporting our weekly Friday fundraises, where the money is going towards paying towards the coach for our residential.

There’s only two more weeks to go until Easter so we will go again on Monday.
