Year 6 Weekly Blog 10.5.24
Date: 10th May 2024 @ 2:13pm
The children in Year 6 have been completing their final preparations for the quizzes next week. They have worked well in groups to solve a range of problems, revising their English and maths knowledge from the past few months in various ways. We ask that children start to come in to class as soon as the gate opens next week, in order to be ready for the start time of the tests at 9:00am, Monday - Thursday.
The children have been busy using their "geometry of chicken" during art sessions in order to create some realistic drawings of the bird. We hope the children continue to use and develop these skills in the coming weeks.
Reverend Matt paid a visit to the classes in order to work more on looking at the Eucharist in various churchers. The children had some interesting questions and learned a lot from the visit.
We have managed to get out and about in the fabulous weather, as the children have put their orienteering skills to the test, finding hidden question cards around the school grounds in a who-finds-the-most wins challenge.
We thank the year 6s and all at home who help them for all the hard work and effort they have put in these last few months. No matter what happens next week, we are proud of allof you! Have a lovely weekend!
