Year 6 Weekly Blog 20.9.24

Welcome back to year 6, we have had another fantastic week and it was as quick as a flash!

In maths, we have been multiplying numbers by 2-digit numbers and learning different methods to solve them.

In English, we have been writing our poems about the Hope-lo-docus but we have changed the animal into a different animal and we have also edited our poems with our partners. In Science, we have been learning about the Circulatory system and we did a fun activity about it outside where we acted out blood flowing through our bodies. In P.E we have continued our topic of fit for life by doing core exercises and improving our strength and flexibility. In art we have been designing our mascots for our cereal boxes and they are all looking so good, colourful and child-friendly. In R.E we have looked at a story about a girl called Lily and her dog Dill as Lily didn't realise that his time on earth has ended.
