This week in maths, we have been learning about how to compare units of measurement between kilometres and miles. We have also had a new experience in practising our knowledge with some quiz questions to prepare us for the future.

During our English lessons, we have been writing our non-chronological report about the Ancient Greeks.Everyone enjoyed our writing and has marked it to make sure it is their best piece of writing.

In our P.E lessons, we have finished our units on tag rugby and Greek dance. We had fun in both lessons and are ecstatic to find out the activities that we will start next term.

In R.E, we have been learning about Jesus and this week we have learnt about his mother Mary and why she was so important. We also found out what Christians believe will happen when Jesus will come back to Earth.

We also enjoyed watching our amazing Y2 buddies perform a fantastic Nativity performance!

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
