Home Learning

Welcome to our Year 3 Home Learning section.

Each Friday, your child will bring home their Blue Home Learning Book, with the Spring 2 Home Learning Grid glued onto the first page. Please support your child in completing the daily non-negotiable tasks in Reading, Spelling, Maths, and Life Skills. In addition, there are four topic-related tasks that can be completed at a time that works best for your family. The entire grid should be finished by the end of this half term.

You will also find a link below to this week's written maths homework, which should be completed in the Home Learning Book, showing full working out for each question. To further support learning, your child will have two weekly online assignments set on Doodle Maths.

Doodle Maths, along with the written maths homework, should be completed by the following Thursday. Your child will receive stamps in their album for each piece of homework completed.

Any passwords needed to access online learning platforms, such as Doodle Learning and TT Rockstars, can be found in your child’s yellow reading record.

Thank you for your continued support.

The Year Three Team

28.3.25

This week's homework is all about volume. We have included 3 differentiated sheets. There is no need to do all 3. Please pick the one you feel is most suited to your child and complete this one.

to learn, to succeed, to value one another

Our vision and values are at the core of everything we do. A value is a belief or principle that guides our thinking and behaviour. Our values underpin our teaching and learning, and provide an environment which prepares our pupils to be happy and confident and to to take an active role in their community and the wider world.

Each year group has adopted one of our Christian values: Kindness, Forgiveness, Courage, Thankfulness, Hope, Faithfulness and Respect. Our over-arching Christian Value is Love. Throughout the year children are helped to explore, have opportunities to practise and then given time to reflect on what each of our Christian values means to them.
